In 2022, QPPL strategically diversified into scrap metal handling and recycling, recognizing the increasing industrial demand for sustainable and cost-effective raw materials. This expansion aligns with our vision to support circular economy practices and reduce environmental impact.

Our dedicated warehouse facility at the SIPCOT Industrial Complex in Thoothukudi serves as the operational hub for this vertical. Here, we carry out large-scale aggregation of scrap metals from both domestic and international sources.

We handle a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including Aluminium, Copper, Stainless Steel, Brass, and Iron. We transform unprocessed, mixed, and often contaminated scrap into clean, sorted, and specification-graded raw material. This transformation involves manual, mechanical, and chemical processes to improve quality, usability, and marketability before selling to manufacturing industries.

The scrap output becomes a primary input for manufacturing and metal production industries (e.g., Steel Mills, foundries, casting units).

Our goal is to maximize the reuse of metal resources, minimize industrial waste, and support low-carbon industrial production by offering high-quality, recycled metal inputs tailored to client requirements, reducing dependence on virgin ores and saving energy in metal production.
